Isa. 61 describes Isaiah's experience coming into the presence of the Glory of God. The description is fantastic and contains powerful images. I wondered as I read how much would change for us if we saw Jesus high and lifted up in this same way. That is what I will attempt to deal with this coming Sunday. The reality is that Jesus is seated as such in heaven. He has all authority and is worthy to be worshipped. We all need a profound encounter with Jesus the King!
