The Gospel is more than words. This is one of the problems with our contemporary society. We have relegated the Gospel into a few expressions of faith and have lost the most important aspect of the Gospel, its compelling call to act. The Gospel is not passive, it was not meant to sit gently on a shelf, but is should propel into the world and all of its need. When we live the Gospel instead of just talking about it, we bring the grace of God into the human experience.
This coming Sunday we will hear two powerful testimonies of people who, out of a passion to live the Gospel, have confronted huge issues, at great personal risk, all in faith and for the Kingdom of God.
Don't just hear the Gospel, nor just talk about it, LIVE IT!
